Back to TopWe do ear cleaning to remove excess wax that may build up in your ear which makes it hard to hear and can be uncomfortable. If the nurses who are experienced in cleaning ears are available, they will be happy to assist you. However, we don't always have the nurses available to do this when you come in. We highly encourage you to call before you come in, so we can give you a time that will work for everyone. We cannot guarantee this service will be immediately available on walk-in. You may have to come back at a later time when the nurse is available. This service is free of charge. We have a variety of medical equipment that can be borrowed free of charge for a period of time. This is nice for the individual who plans on having a surgical procedure or some other procedure, and they need temporary equipment. Some of the equipment we have include walkers, toilet seat risers, crutches, bath chairs, walking canes, bedside commodes, wheelchairs, etc. You can call us to make sure we have the equipment you are looking for. You will have to fill out a form, so you can be reached if the equipment isn't returned. You may fill out the form for somebody else if they are unable to come in for themselves. We do want the equipment cleaned before you bring it back. We give it to you clean, we expect it back clean. We take and appreciate donations of equipment that can be reused. TB testing is a $10.00 fee. If you work in healthcare or other high risk occupations, you need to have a TB test every year. Some places even require twice a year. If it is your very first TB test and going into the healthcare field, new regulations state you have to have the test done twice, 2 weeks apart. Every year after that initial testing you only need it once a year. If you get a positive reading, it does not mean you have tuberculosis. But you will need follow up with your primary healthcare provider, and we will provide you with the education and those resources you may need.
